AMIS 24, the new Adaptive Mixing Chamber

AMIS 24 is the ultimate version of Mixing Chamber for accurate VO2 measurements in the Elite Sports athletes with accuracy comparable to the gold standard Douglas bag method. Its “adaptive volume” feature makes it similar to a breath-by-breath system with 10-second averaged data.

The AMIS 24 mixing chamber module allows metabolic assessment through a full range of ventilation rates during exercise testing, regardless of the protocol, without the necessity to use a steady state one.

The AMIS 24 brings the advantages of dynamic mixing chamber, already in use on portable and wearable devices, on COSMED Metabolic carts.

The new module is compatible with Quark series devices.
