COSMED Innocor CO system at Aarhus University (Denmark) for medical degree programme

Frank de Paoli, Associate Professor at Aarhus University (Denmark), Department of Biomedicine, chose to use COSMED Innocor CO system in the medical degree programme for second year students taking classes on biochemistry and physiology.

Innocor CO measures oxygen uptake, cardiac output, depth of breathing and many of the other parameters that change when the body goes from rest to work. The transportable equipment is easy to move and set up for the students to use.

"The students shouldn’t only read about heart volume and heart rates in a book. It’s important for coming medical doctors to have a good understanding of the basic mechanisms that begin when the body regulates itself while under workload." Frank de Paoli explains. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀
