VO2max represents the maximum volume of oxygen consumed per minute per kilogram of weight and defines the personal cardiorespiratory and aerobic level.

The VO2max indicates the body's ability to bring oxygen to all parts of the body, through the circulatory system, in order to use it as part of the energy production process.
