Observational study with COSMED Quark CPET among (top) athletes who have suffered from Corona.

Bob van den Berg, pulmonologist at the OLVG Hospital in Amsterdam, is currently conducting an observational study with COSMED Quark CPET among (top) athletes who have suffered from Corona.

Those athletes are tired, suffer from shortness of breath and have a strong decline. They are actually no longer able to complete their activities at the same level.

The Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test will provide detailed characterisation of any functional impediment and the cardiorespiratory impact of prior SARS-CoV-2 infection in order to provide support strategies and to assess the efficacy of developed interventions.
