In order to concentrate our efforts and engage additional time and resources in the design and development of the next generation of our products, COSMED has decided to provide technical software maintenance only for OMNIA versions 2.X onwards.

Moreover, due to advances in technologies, some of the Microsoft components used in OMNIA versions 1.X are no longer compatible with the newer operating systems and/or no longer meet current security standards.

Discontinuance of OMNIA Software versions is no reason to panic! Devices that are operated with OMNIA Software versions 1.X can still be used.

COSMED only makes limitations with technical support meaning that installations, upgrades or bugs fixing of discontinued software versions are no longer supported. The COSMED Support Team remain indeed available for any doubts, or questions on how to use the software.

COSMED highly recommends always upgrading existing OMNIA installations to the latest version.

In 2021 the Company released the new OMNIA Software 2.X generation (available with COSMED products released starting from July) enabling greater performance with new features and enhancements.

As a result of customers and collaborators feedback as well as technological and scientific progress, the actual OMNIA version is 2.2.

Upgrades from OMNIA versions 1.X to OMNIA versions 2.X is not free of charge.
