COSMED Acquires Bioparhom to Strengthen Its Leadership in Body Composition and Metabolic Assessment
Rome, Italy / Chambéry, France – [26/09/2025] – COSMED (www.cosmed.com), a global leader in cardiopulmonary, metabolic, and body composition diagnostic solutions, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Bioparhom (www.bioparhom.com), a French company specializing in bio-impedance analysis (BIA) technologies.
The acquisition reinforces COSMED’s strategic commitment to providing comprehensive, cutting-edge solutions for health, performance, and research markets worldwide. Bioparhom’s expertise in bio-impedance complements COSMED’s established leadership in metabolic, body composition and pulmonary diagnostics, creating significant synergies between the two product portfolios.
Bioparhom will be joining forces with the existing subsidiary, COSMED France SASU, enhancing COSMED’s direct presence in the French market while leveraging Bioparhom’s strong domestic reputation in clinical and research sectors. The combined entity will accelerate innovation, expand international markets, and provide customers with a broader range of solutions for human physiology assessment. The Bioparhom team will continue to operate from its current site in the Savoie region, ensuring continuity for partners and customers.
