THEORETICAL-PRACTICAL COURSE FOR SPORTS MEDICINE DOCTORS
From Physiology to Clinical Practice
The course aims to teach, through theoretical lessons and practical exercises with specialized tutors, how to perform and interpret the results of this diagnostic method.
Although still not widely used nationwide, it can be extremely valuable not only for Sports Physicians but also for Cardiologists. The Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test provides crucial information for diagnosing and assessing the prognosis of various heart conditions, both congenital and acquired (as well as major respiratory diseases).
CPET is also essential in prescribing structured physical activity programs for preventive, rehabilitative, and therapeutic purposes—an area of growing interest in Sports Medicine.
Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing will be performed with COSMED Quark CPET.
