The Real Madrid team performing fitness check-up using the COSMED K5

The Real Madrid players were subject to an intense fitness test with the COSMED K5 wearable metabolic system as they continue their preparations ahead of the return to LaLiga action next week.

To determine players cardiovascular fitness and performance capacity (VO2Max), the test intensity was progressively increased while measuring ventilation and oxygen and carbon dioxide concentration of the inhaled and exhaled air.
