Data Privacy Statement for COSMED applicants

In compliance with Articles 13 and 14 of the European Union Regulation 2016/679 for the protection of personal data (hereinafter “GDPR”), COSMED S.R.L. (hereinafter “COSMED”) provides you with the following information regarding the use of the personal data (hereinafter “Data”) you provide.

1. Data Controller

COSMED has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as it does not process data that fall within the scope of Article 37 of the GDPR.

2. Purpose of collection and legal basis for processing

The Data are collected for the management of organizational and administrative procedures necessary to evaluate the possibility of scheduling a job interview and assessing the potential establishment of an employment relationship, based on the information you provided to COSMED by e-mail or through the appropriate form on the institutional website (hereinafter referred to as the “Purpose”).

Providing your personal data is mandatory for these purposes; without it, COSMED will not be able to grant access to the facility or evaluate your application.

Consent is not required for processing your personal data for the purposes described above, as the processing is lawful under one of the legal bases provided in the GDPR.

3. Methods of processing

The personal data collected will be entered into COSMED’s information system and lawfully processed by authorized and trained personnel pursuant to Article 29 of the GDPR, in a transparent and responsible manner. Manual and partially automated tools will be used to carry out the operations described in Article 4.2 of the GDPR, including: collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, deletion, and destruction.

The Data will not be subject to automated decision-making processes, including profiling.

4. Data transfer

Personal data may be communicated by COSMED to external parties and/or companies collaborating in the execution of organizational, administrative, and tax procedures related to the Purpose, which may operate in countries outside the European Union.

In particular, this includes companies providing administrative and accounting services, sales and support services on behalf of COSMED, as well as companies controlled by COSMED.

Data may also be communicated to Italian and European Union authorities and public bodies that request it, if required by law.

5. Retention period

Your personal data, processed for the purposes indicated above, will be retained in accordance with the principles of necessity and proportionality for a period of 5 (five) years, after which they will be deleted, without prejudice to legal obligations.

6. Rights of the data subject

Your data will be processed respecting your rights under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing.

You may exercise your rights or lodge complaints regarding GDPR violations with the data controller indicated above, or with the relevant Data Protection Authority.
