Pony FX

Advanced Desktop Spirometer with spirometry, airway resistance and respiratory mechanics

OVERVIEW

Pony FX is a desktop spirometer developed by COSMED for complete spirometry (FVC/SVC, MVV, bronchial provocation) and respiratory mechanics (MIP/MEP, Rocc) testing.

With a large colour LCD screen and inbuilt thermal printer, it is possible to perform tests without the need of a computer.

Pony FX has internal memory, which can store many patients/tests, and comes with a powerful and user-friendly PC software (OMNIA) for data management and real-time PC testing.

Pony FX and Pony FX MIP/MEP are medical devices.

Desktop spirometer

Pony FX belongs to the 4th generation of the most sold desktop spirometers, featuring extreme flexibility. Users can choose whether to operate it in standalone mode or in integrated environments.

Compact Design

Pony FX is a lightweight, battery operating device. The compact design guarantees extreme portability without renouncing to the practicality of a large LCD screen and in-built thermal printer.

Complete assessment

Spirometry tests can be complemented with additional tests like respiratory mechanics (MIP/MEP), respiratory resistance (Rocc) and integrated pulseoximeter (SpO2) for a comprehensive PFT assessment.

Pediatric Incentivation

Possibility to perform spirometry with a selection of innovative pediatric incentivation graphics with user-selectable effort grade on both volume and flow (both PEF and FVC predicteds).

Compliant

Pony FX and OMNIA comply with the latest international guidelines for spirometry, including ATS/ERS Standardization of Spirometry 2019 Update.

OMNIA Software

Pony FX includes OMNIA, the modular software suite from COSMED with an innovative user interface. OMNIA's intuitive workflow allows users to operate devices with no need for a long adaptation period.
