Pioneer study on the metabolic function of snowboarders with COSMED K5
At Oregon State University, Dr. Timothy Burnett, instructor of kinesiology, is conducting a pioneer study on the metabolic function of snowboarders with COSMED K5.
This line of research aims to understand the energy requirements of different downhill snowboarding activities. Research, banked-slalom courses and border crossing events will develop pilot data for examining the broader spectrum of downhill snowboarding activities.
In this video a day of pilot testing at Mt. Bachelor Ski Area (Bend), a perfect destination for some of the most talented snowboarders around the world.⠀
