High-intensity training session with the COSMED K5 for Al-Ahli SFC players
Under the supervision of fitness coach Oliver Bartlett and O2UP Team, the players performed this metabolic assessment to determine the cardiovascular status and the performance capacity (VO2 Max) to set specific trainings for the next season in the Saudi First Division.
The test intensity was progressively increased while measuring ventilation and oxygen and carbon dioxide concentration of the inhaled and exhaled air.
