Omonia FC Kick Off 2025/26 with COSMED Quark CPET for Advanced Cardiorespiratory Fitness Testing
Before kicking off the 2025/26 pre-season, the players of Omonia Football Club underwent a comprehensive performance diagnostics test to assess their physiological profiles, with a particular focus on cardiorespiratory fitness.
The tests were performed at the University of Central Lancashire, Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus), using the COSMED Quark CPET metabolic cart and the h/p/cosmos treadmill.
Through Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET), the medical and performance team gathered detailed data on each player’s aerobic capacity, endurance, and overall physical readiness.
These insights are essential for developing individualized training strategies and ensuring optimal performance as the team prepares for the challenges of the new season.
