In compliance with the requirements of Articles 13 and 14 of the European Union Regulation 2016/679 for the protection of Personal Data (hereinafter GDPR), COSMED S.R.L. (hereinafter COSMED) provides you with the following information about the use of personal data (hereinafter Data) provided by you.

1. Data controller

COSMED has not appointed a Data Protection Officer as it does not process data falling within the definition of Article 37 of the GDPR.

2. Purpose of collection and legal bases of the processing

COSMED S.R.L., in managing requests for commercial collaboration, will process your personal data in compliance with applicable data protection legislation.
The processing will be lawful pursuant to Article 6 of the GDPR, for the management of the organizational and administrative procedures necessary to evaluate the possibility of establishing a commercial collaboration relationship based on the information you sent to COSMED S.R.L. by email or through the appropriate form on the institutional website. The provision of your Personal Data is mandatory for these purposes; without it, COSMED will not be able to evaluate the possibility of establishing a collaboration relationship. Consent is not required for the processing of your Personal Data for the mentioned purposes, as the processing is lawful based on one of the legal bases indicated above.

3. Processing methods

The personal Data collected will be entered into the COSMED information system and they will be lawful processed by authorized and instructed personnel pursuant to Article 29 of the GDPR, in a transparent and responsible manner, using manual and partially automated tools to carry out the operations indicated in Article 4.2 of the GDPR, i.e. collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, deletion and destruction. The data will not be subjected to automated decision-making processes such as profiling.

4. Transfer of Data

The Personal Data may be communicated by COSMED to external subjects and/or companies that will collaborate for the execution of the organizational, administrative and tax procedures related to the Purpose and that may operate in countries outside the European Union. In particular, reference is made to companies that provide administrative and accounting services, sales and support services on behalf of COSMED, and companies controlled by COSMED. The Data may be communicated to Italian and European Union authorities and public bodies that request it if there are legal obligations.

5. Retention period

Your Personal Data, processed for the purposes indicated above, will be kept in compliance with the principles of necessity and proportionality, for a period of 5 (five) years, after which they will be deleted, without prejudice to legal obligations.

6. Rights of the person

The Personal Data will be managed taking into account your rights established by the Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, i.e. the rights: access, rectification, erasure, limitation of processing, portability, objection to processing. You may request the application of your rights or lodge complaints to complain about violations of the GDPR, to the data controller indicated below, or to the Data Protection Authority.
